Lake Compounce Theme Park

Prospects of a good time and some old-fashioned summer fun drew a crowd of approximately 700 UAW Local 571 family members and guests to our annual family picnic at Lake Compounce this summer. Kids of all ages cooled off around, in, and under the many water features at the park while others went for the drier choices. Jovial people wandered about choosing whatever gravitational challenges they wanted to subject their bodies to. Our white shirts could be spotted from one end of the park to the other, but mainly at the UAW Local 571 pavilions for the delicious barbecue! Many thanks to our Local 571 officers and the Recreation Committee for arranging this great summer event. Sure looked like everyone was having a ball.
