1999 HOLIDAY DINNER DANCE
December 18, 1999 It was a season of celebrations, and Local 571 members came to party on December 18, 1999! You had to be an early bird to get your tickets before this popular event sold out, but those who managed to do so had a fun-filled night dancing to the music of Night Watch. The Groton Inn & Suites, as always, did a great job of serving the throng of hungry revelers. Union officers introduced our invited guests and, along with members of the Recreation committee, raffled off several lovely holiday floral arrangements.
At the end of the evening, lucky owners of "green" peppermint candy at each table left with their prize of the table's centerpiece. It was a festive occasion for all who came and one that we hope to see you at next year. Best wishes to all for a happy new millennium!
